The main use of this oil is an insect repellent-especially mosquitoes. Just careful about what felines are attracted! Do not take internally. Avoid in pregnancy. Do not use on babies, infants or pets.
Our cat, Ceres lives in a home with hundreds of essential oils. When she was a kitten she got onto a shelf with the oils and out of the thousands of bottles, chose catnip to drag onto the floor. Cats may like this oil, however, do not let them have it straight, or it could be fatal, as it is too strong in this form. She was fine, as she didn’t get to drink it, but she does love being around us when it is poured. She also likes peppermint almost as much.
