Steam distilled from flowers.  Lavender is a cellular regenerator. All skin types may benefit. Some find it useful for acne, dermatitis, dry and wet eczema, insect bites & stings, rashes, rosacea, sunburn, wounds, burns, and blisters. It is thought to be anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiseptic, anti-infectious and regenerative. It may prevent scarring. It may also regulate puffy skin. Mentally calming. It may balance sebum and have analgesic properties. It may also help balance blood pressure and teething pains. A sedative in low doses, but stimulating in high amounts. May cause dermatitis in some people. Avoid in the first 3 months of pregnancy. Some people do have an allergy to lavender, so like with all essential oils, use with care.
